Put Our Children 1st
We all want our children to have a bright future - more opportunities than we had and a fair chance to achieve their potential and be successful. Yet, it is increasingly clear that a high school diploma does not necessarily mean that graduates will be prepared for higher education or for the world of work. As parents, we want to know that no matter where we live or what school district, school or classroom our children are in, all students have access to high-quality education and provided the necessary resources to achieve.
What is the Parent Academy?
The Parent Academy is an innovative parent engagement program for parents with children ages “four” and/or ages “K-12” that can change the course of student achievement by engaging parents in nine weeks of activities that will help you understand the types of support your children need to succeed in school, as well as, empower you to advocate for your children, thereby, playing a key role in closing the achievement gap.
